The identity of Armenian citizen killed on Sheremetyevo airport runway revealed
The Armenian Embassy in Russia confirms that as a result of an incident at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, Armenian citizen Yepremyan A. G. (born in 1993) was killed.
According to a statement posted on the embassy's Facebook page, his identity was confirmed through the deportation certificate issued for his return to Armenia. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation informed that investigation into the circumstances and causes of the incident is underway.
A plane bound for Athens ran into a man on a take-off runway at Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport Tuesday. Later his body and personal belongings were found on the runway. The man was a citizen of Armenia deported from Spain; he was on his way back to Armenia via Moscow.
