RPA member Gevorg Kostanyan to leave Armenia
Republican faction member Gevorg Kostanyan told reporters Wednesday he was planning to leave Armenia.
"I will leave Armenia, but not permanently. In no circumstances can I be detached from the country. I will leave for a certain period of time, for a certain purpose, for work," said Kostanyan.
He mentioned that during his lifetime he has received numerous offers to work in different institutions abroad, but the reason he refused to leave has always been related to the moral side of the issue.
"It's not that I did not have the opportunity to get into parliament, there have been a lot of suggestions, to be honest. But I have always said that parliamentary activity is not what I want for myself because it contains political elements in it, and I avoid being involved in political activities, as to to what extent I have managed to do it is the other side of the issue," said Kostanyan.
