Armenia’s NSS exposes crime group making fake bills
The Armenian National Security Service has revealed a crime group engaged in preparation and usage of counterfeit money due to its large-scale detective and investigative measures.
The NSS agents have discovered $850,000 fake bills possessed by the group, $25,000 of which at the moment of treatment while the rest at the preparation phase. The equipment used by the crime group to print the fake banknotes have also been found.
The security agents have also discovered 1.5 kg of marihuana in the place of printing the fake bills, with some part of it packed for sales.
Seven members of the group have been identified and arrested.
Investigation is underway, with measures being taken to reveal other samples of the fake banknotes put into circulation.
