Armenia’s acting PM hosts National Instruments CEO
Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received on Friday Co-founder and President of National Instruments James Truchard, an awardee of the State Prize of the Republic of Armenia for global contribution in the sphere of information technologies, the PM’s official website reports.
Welcoming the guest, Pashinyan noted: “I have decided to give you the award for global contribution in the IT sphere, which well above being an appreciation of your achievements is important in terms of how we can change the world by individual efforts. We hope that we will be able to inspire people in Armenia to believe in their personal capacities and take efforts toward changing the world. In this sense you are exemplary, and we want to display your personality to our youth.”
Thanking Pashinyan for appreciating his activities, Truchard stressed he sees a great future for Armenia in terms of high technologies.
He noted that his company is ready to deepen cooperation with the Armenian partners, thus contributing to further advancement of the sector in the country.
To note, Acting Minister of Transport, Communication and ITs Hakob Arshakyan is a former employee of the National Instruments.
