Pashinyan disproves media reports on failing to submit asset declaration to CEC
Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has disproved media reports alleging that he has failed to submit an asset declaration to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
“Yesterday I saw reports on the press suggesting that I haven’t submitted a declaration to the CEC. Surely, such a claim has nothing to do with the reality,” he wrote, posting the copies of the document.
“The hardcopy declaration was submitted within the specified timeframes. And if the digital information received by the media outlets hasn’t opened on their computer, sorry, that’s not my fault.”
CEC spokesperson Hermine Harutyunyan, for her part, announced about a technical failure regarding the declarations submitted by the heads of some political forces running for parliament in the December 9 elections.
