Opera and Ballet Theater to host Giuseppe Verdi's "Requiem"
The National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater after Spendiaryan will host on December 6 and 7, Verdi's "Requiem", featuring the famous Italian director Paolo Miccichè’s performance of "The Last Judgment". The performance will be accompanied by a 3D video sequence of Michelangelo's "Sistine Chapel", created by Paolo Miccichè, the opera and ballet theater informed.
The performance will be conducted by the Artistic Director and Director of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, Honored Artist of Russia, Konstantin Orbelyan.
Costumes have been designed by Alberto Spazzi (Italy), video programming by Davide Broccoli (Italy).
The performance is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the 1988 earthquake in Armenia.
