At least 5 killed in US-led coalition airstrikes in Syria
At least five civilians were killed in US-led coalition airstrikes on the city of Hajin in Syria's Deir ez-Zor province on Wednesday, the Syrian state-run SANA news agency reported, according to Sputnik News.
The US-led coalition of more than 70 countries regularly carries out airstrikes in the Syrian eastern province of Deir ez-Zor. Syrian media often accuse the coalition of killing civilians and using weapons, prohibited by the international treaties, while the coalition refutes the accusations. In November, media reported that 26 civilians, including women and children, were killed in an airstrike by the coalition on the city of Hajin.
