Official: Pashinyan, Aliyev discuss Karabakh settlement at CIS meeting
Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a conversation on the sidelines of an informal meeting of the CIS leaders in St. Petersburg, Deputy Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev said in an interview with Trend.
The informal meeting of the CIS heads of state was held in St. Petersburg on Thursday, 6 December.
“President Aliyev talked with Armenia’s Acting PM Nikol Pashinyan during the event,” he added. “Discussions were held to continue active talks on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict and observe the ceasefire regime."
