Some roads hardly passable in Armenia, Lars open
On December 8, as of 05h00 CET, the roads of the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.
Vardenyats Pass and Sotk-Karvachar highway are hardly passable.
Fog has been reported in Dilijan, Vardenyats Pass, Sotk-Karvachar, Talin-Mastara-Lanjik highways (visibility: 20 m).
It is snowing in Vardenyats Pass, on Sotk-Karvachar highway and in the town of Vardenis, Gegharkunik region.
Drivers are advised to travel only with the winter tires.
According to the Georgian Interior Ministry's Emergency Situations department, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
According to information received from the Emergency Situations Ministry of the North Ossetian Republic within Russia, there are cars accumulated on the Russian side.
