Ministry of Sports issues final list of "Top 10 Athletes of the Year"
The official website of the Armenian Ministry of Sport and Youth has published the final list of the 2018 nominees of "10 Best Athletes of the Year". The list runs as follows:

8. Vladimir Harutyunyan / Lev Sargsyan (Synchronous jump)
9. Arsen Ghazaryan (Sambo)
10. Maxim Manukyan (Greco-Roman wrestling)
11. Simon Martirosyan (Weightlifting)
12. Gor Minasyan (Weightlifting)
13. Grigor Mkhitaryan (Sambo)
14. Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Football)
15. Arthur Shahinyan (Greco-Roman wrestling)
16. David Petrosyan (Sambo)
17. Marcos Pizzelli (Football)
18. Sargis Arthur Sargsyan (Greco-Roman Wrestling)

The winners will be determined by the results of SMS vote and the voting of the media accredited by the Ministry as well as the voting of the coaches of the Armenian Olympic and Non-Olympic sports teams.
SMS voting will be held on December 7-21, 2018, and the media and coaches will vote on December 21, 10h00 – 15h00 CET.
