All measures in place to exclude election violations, police chief says
The Armenian police have taken all the preventive measures prescribed by law to exclude possible election violations or frauds, Chief of Police Valeriy Osipyan told reporters on Sunday.
“I believe these works have been carried out successfully,” he said, after casting his ballot in the early parliamentary elections that kicked off in Armenia on Sunday morning.
Osipyan added that he has voted for a good Armenia.
He also hailed the election campaign as unprecedented, adding no emergencies have been recorded during the campaign period.
