Parliamentary polls: Voter turnout placed at 7,76% as of 11am
A total of 201,250 people have cast ballots in Armenia’s snap parliamentary elections as of 11am Sunday, accounting for 7,76 percent of the total number of eligible voters, Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Laura Galstyan said.
2,592,486 people are eligible to vote in the parliamentary elections that kicked off in the country at 8am local time. The polling stations will be open until 8pm.
Eleven political forces, including nine parties and two blocs, are running for parliament.
During the 2017 parliamentary elections, the voter turnout stood at 13,32 percent (344,717 voters) at 11am.
