Armenian athletes win silver, bronze at Kyokushin European and World C'ships
The Armenian karate team has showed a strong performance at the KWU Kyokushin European and 6th World Junior Championships 2018 held in Varna, Bulgaria, on 7-9 December.
The team led by Kyokushin Karate Federation President Andranik Hakobyan and Vice President Virab Martirosyan, featured 14 karate athletes.
Sportsmen Vahagn Hakobyan and Max Vlasyan captured a bronze medal each at the World Junior Championship, the federation told Panorama.am.
Armenian representatives Hovhannes Sargsyan and Hayk Misakyan won silver and bronze, respectively, at the European Championship.
