Armenia saw a strong growth in soap production this year
Soap production volumes recorded strong growth in Armenia from January to October this year, recording 77.3 percent increase to compare with the volumes of the same period last year, the Statistical Service of Armenia told Panorama.am.
According to the source, 543 tons of soap was produced in the country over the past ten years, while the volume for the previous year was 306.2 tons.
The first ten months of 2018 recorded decline of 7.1 percent in production of washing, cleaning and starching agents, which stood at 3 087.5 tons against the 3 323.2 tons of the same period of 2017.
