The Sasna Tsrer party has issued a statement to thank its members for their hard work and supporters and voters for pinning their hopes on the party at Sunday’s early elections.

“Our party was registered on November 8, entering the election race already on November 14. Our votes aren’t few and the sympathy toward us has a nationwide scale, without exaggeration.

Simply, despite liking us, the revolutionary majority of our people decided to give almost all their votes to Nikol Pashinyan and his bloc at this phase. The will of people is unquestionable, and we accept it,” the statement says. 

“Our further work shall be organizational empowerment and daily work with the people,” the party said.

Sasna Tsrer scored less than 2% of the vote in the December 9 snap parliamentary elections, failing to make it to the National Assembly.
