Artsakh’s ex-defense minister named new head of emergency situations service
Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan signed today a number of decrees and approved the government resolutions on cadre issues, his office reports.
Sahakyan signed a decree dismissing Lieutenant General Levon Mnatsakanyan from the position of the Artsakh Republic Defense Minister, Commander of the Defense Army.
According to another presidential decree Major General Karen Abrahamyan was appointed Artsakh Defense Minister, Commander of the Defense Army, being relieved of his duties as First Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Defense Army's military unit N19916.
Under the president's decree Colonel Jalal Harutyunyan was appointed First Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Artsakh Defense Army's military unit N19916, being released from the post of Commander of the military unit N42009.
Pursuant to the government resolution approved by the president, Karen Sargsyan was dismissed as Director of the Artsakh State Service on Emergency Situations.
According to another government resolution approved by Sahakyan, Levon Mnatsakanyan was appointed Director of the Artsakh Republic State Service on Emergency Situations.
The Artsakh leader also signed a decree to dismiss Mourad Petrosyan as his representative at large upon his own resignation.
Under the president's decree, Karen Sargsyan was appointed Sahakyan’s representative at large.
