Armenia’s bread production on the decline
Bread production volumes kept dropping in Armenia over the past ten months, according to the latest figures released by the National Statistical Committee.
Armenia produced 221.4 thousand tons of bread from January to October 2018, down by 2.4 percent from the same period last year when a total of 226.8 thousand tons were produced.
The first ten months of this year also saw a decline in flour production, which dropped by 18.2 percent to some 110 046.9 tons from 135 223.6 tons of January-October last year.
