UEFA charges Armenia national team with crowd disturbances during Nations League group stage match
The European football association, UEFA, on Friday charged the Armenian national football team with crowd disturbances at the Nations League group stage match between Armenia and Gibraltar played on 13 October in Yerevan.
The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has decided to fine the Football Federation of Armenia €18,000.
To remind, the incident involving members of two Armenian fan groups Red Eagles and FAF
in the final minutes of the match after a flag of Gibraltar was raised in the Red Eagles section.
Aside from that, the home team were charged for throwing of objects by fans toward the visiting team players.
