Beatles reunion: Paul McCartney performs Get Back with Ringo Starr and Ronnie Wood
Paul McCartney performed his last live show of 2018 at The O2 Arena in London last night. The sold-out concert including a whole host of celebrities in the audience from actors Emma Thompson, Idris Elba, Simon Pegg and Rami Malek to music stars Harry Styles, Chris Martin, Geri Halliwell and Roger Daltrey. Daily Express reports, the former Beatle has been on tour to support his latest solo album Egypt Station while treating his fans to songs from his old band like A Hard Day’s Night and Hey Jude, among solo classics from Live and Let Die to Wonderful Christmas Time.
However, the biggest surprise came during the five-song encore, which included a rendition of Get Back. The last time the two surviving Beatles performed live together was 2015 when Sir Ringo was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
