Emmanuel Macron congratulates Nikol Pashinyan on victory at parliamentary elections
French President Emmanuel Macron has sent a congratulatory message to Armenian acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of his My Step Alliance at the early parliamentary elections held in Armenia on December 9.
“This electoral process showed the commitment of the Armenian people to democratic values and rule of law. I sincerely wish you success during your tenure,” the congratulatory message read in part.
In his message, Emmanuel Macron also vowed to continue supporting Armenian in implementations of the reforms through which Pashinyan wants to raise the economy of the country and the prosperity of the Armenian people.
“Be assured that as a co-chairing state to the Minsk Group France will continue supporting the peaceful, just, and lasting solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” the message concluded.
