Some roads difficult to pass in Armenia
Some highways are difficult to pass in the territory of Armenia as of 8am Thursday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
Vardenyats Pass and Alagyaz-Artik highway are hardly passable. Sotk-Karvachar highway is partly covered with black ice.
Fog has descended over the Dilijan curves, Goris-Kapan highway and the town of Goris in Armenia’s Syunik Province.
Drivers are strictly recommended to use winter tires when traveling to regions.
According to the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
The General Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia reports stuck vehicles on the Russian side.
