Pashinyan’s statue damaged on Gyumri-Yerevan highway
The statue of acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been damaged, according to reports and photos spread on social media. Unidentified persons have broken and stolen the head of the statue which is placed on the Gyumri-Yerevan highway.
To note, created by Gyumri-based sculptor, the statue was placed in September, symbolizing the march of Nikol Pashinyan from Gyumri to Yerevan preceding the April revolution in Armenia.
As Panorama.am learnt from the Police of Armenia, the law enforcement body has received no report about the incident.
“We have seen the relevant publications about the incident and currently we are studying them,” press service at the Police said.
