Kremlin: Putin-Pashinyan meeting to address key topics of bilateral agenda
Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive the acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on December 27 in Moscow. As the Kremlin reported in a released statement, the two leaders ‘are expected to discuss key issues pertaining to the bilateral agenda as well as cooperation prospects of integration units in the Eurasian space.’
Kommersant daily earlier wrote that the meeting planned in Moscow will end the issue of the CSTO secretary general. The paper had quoted an unnamed source from Russia’s foreign ministry, saying Moscow hoped for compromises from the Armenian side to finally appoint to new secretary general and start the year on a positive note.
