Pashinyan: Armenian banks pardon over 7 billion drams in fines and penalties
Due to the legislative reforms implemented by the government in July, Armenian banks have lifted penalties and fines of 14,963 creditors totaling to more than 7 billion drams, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Facebook.
“The loan histories of about 124,000 clients has been reviewed. This process is continuous,” he said, adding people should visit their creditor banks to reach an agreement in terms of fines and penalties.
The acting PM is departing today for Moscow to told talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He posted a photo on Facebook moments ago, captioning, “Flying to Moscow”.
