Snow hits certain roads in Armenia
Snowfalls have hit the roads in Tashir, Ashotsk, Akhuryan, Artik, Aparan, Stepanavan regions as of 15:00 December 27, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and ITs reported. Vardenyats pass is closed for heavy vehicles and vehicles with trailers. Clear ice is observed on roads in Sevan region.
According to the source, the road crews are carrying out cleaning operations with chemical salt and sand along the roads. All interstate and republican roads in the territory of Armenia are passable, the ministry added.
