Emergencies ministry gives updates on road conditions in Armenia
Roadways are mostly open for traffic in the territory of Armenia as of Thursday afternoon, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
Vardenyats Pass is open for passenger vehicles and shut down for cargo trucks. Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to pass.
Drivers are strictly recommended to drive to regions exceptionally on winter tires.
According to the Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
The General Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia reports stuck vehicles on the Russian side.
