Roads mostly passable in Armenia
Roads are mostly open for traffic in the territory of Armenia as of Friday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
Vardenyats Pass is open for passenger vehicles but is shut down for cargo trucks, with drivers urged to avoid travel through the mountain pass.
Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to pass.
Drivers are strictly recommended to drive to regions exceptionally on winter tires.
According to the Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
The General Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia reports stuck vehicles on the Russian side.
