Armenia’s ombudsman extends condolences to Russian counterpart over Magnitogorsk tragedy
Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia Arman Tatoyan has offered condolences to Russia's High Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova on the deadly apartment block explosion and collapse in the city of Magnitogorsk that claimed 39 lives.
“I was deeply saddened to learn about the tragic collapse of an apartment building in Magnitogorsk, which killed residents, including children,” Tatoyan said in a condolence message released by his office.
“Please accept my heartfelt condolences on this tragedy. Please also accept my sympathy and solidarity with the families and friends of the victims of the tragedy.
“I wish them fortitude at this difficult moment for all. I want to assure you that I am standing by you at this moment of sorrow and share your grief,” reads the message.
