Lars road closed for all types of vehicles
Roadways are mostly open for traffic in the territory of Armenia as of 10 am on Sunday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am. According to the source, Vardenyats pass is closed for heavy trucks and difficult to pass or light vehicles.
Clear ice is observed on Aragats-Artik, Aparan-Tsakghkahovit, Aparan-Quchak and Sisian-Meghri roads. Snowstorm has hit Shenkani-Rya Taza road.
Drivers are strictly recommended to use winter tires.
According to the information provided by the Emergency Situations Agency of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Department of the Republic of North Ossetia of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
