Armenia’s acting deputy PM visits military unit
Acting Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan accompanied by Deputy Chief of General Staff Andranik Makaryan on Sunday paid a visit to a north-eastern military unit of the Armenian Armed Forces.
The official congratulated the commanders and soldiers on the New Year and Christmas holidays. Thanking them for their dedicated and responsible service, Avinyan stressed the powerful and combatable army ensures peace along the borders and creates conditions necessary for the progress of the Armenian people.
The top official wished the servicemen safe service and endurance, his office reported.
Avinyan toured the military unit and dined with the servicemen. He next visited military bases to talk to the frontline crews and familiarize himself with the terms of the combat duty.
