Some roads difficult to pass in Armenia
Some highways are difficult to pass in the territory of Armenia as of 2pm Tuesday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Vardenyats Pass is shut down, while Sotk-Karvachar highway is hardly passable.
The roads in Aparan and Aragats districts are partly covered with black ice.
Snowfalls are reported in the town of Aparan, as well as in Shirak Province and Dilijan turns.
Drivers are strictly recommended to drive to regions exceptionally on winter tires.
According to the Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open only for light passenger vehicles.
The General Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia reports 120 vehicles stuck on the Russian side.
