Yerevan Municipality urges parents not to take kids with flu to school, kindergarten
The Yerevan Municipality calls on parents not to take their children sick with influenza (flu) to school or kindergarten due to the season of acute respiratory infections.
Meantime, the city hall refutes reports on alleged shutdown of kindergartens amid a decline in attendance.
The health ministry has carried out epidemiological filter in schools and kindergartens across Armenia since Wednesday. Overall, 387 kids with apparent respiratory infections (129 in Yerevan and 258 in regions) were sent home over the past day.
The health ministry says the anti-flu measures are underway.
