Acting CSTO chief congratulates Pashinyan on re-appointment
Acting Secretary General of the Russia-led Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Valery Semerikov has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his re-appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia, the PM’s office said.
“Please accept my warmest and sincere congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia. The outcomes of the recent parliamentary elections reaffirm that the Armenian people pin hopes on the deep democratic reforms announced by you and are ready to participate in their implementation for better future of their country. I am confident that by relying on this support your government will achieve significant progress in all spheres of political, social and economic life,” reads the message.
Semerikov said he is looking forward to continuing and intensifying cooperation with Armenia within the CSTO towards further development of the organization and enhancement of the security capacity of its member states to counter the challenges and threats to international and regional security.
“I wish you sound health, welfare and good luck for the benefit of Armenia and its people,” the message concludes.
