Mother of fallen Armenian soldier gives birth to twin boys
The 40-year-old mother of Armenian soldier Karen Danielyan who fell in Artsakh in 2017, has given birth to twin boys in the town of Artik.
One of the babies has been named Karen, while the other – Narek.
Speaking to Panorama.am, Acting Director of the Artik Mother and Child Health Center Hasmik Abrahamyan said 40-year-old mother Tina Torosyan feels good after having a natural delivery.
“The mother is very excited but is in a good health. The babies are premature born in the 35th week of pregnancy. One of the newborns weighed 2kg 100 grams in birth, while the other – 1 kg 750 grams. Their condition is satisfactory. They are currently inside an incubator related to their prematurity,” she said.
Now Tina Torosyan has three kids – one daughter and two boys. The family lives in the village of Saratak in Shirak Province.
Born in 1996, Karen Danielyan fell victim to Azerbaijani shooting in Artsakh’s Talish on 20 May 2017.
