3 dead, 1 wounded in Artsakh car crash
Three Armenian citizens have been killed and another wounded in a tragic road traffic accident in Artsakh, the country’s emergencies service said.
The accident took place near the town of Karvachar in the Shahumyan region on Sunday.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene to find out that a Lada Niva driven by a resident of the village of Gladzor in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Province had gone off road to roll into a river running through the valley close to the area.
The driver and two passengers died on the spot, while another passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries. Doctors assess his condition as moderate.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
