Kyiv hosting Armenian Culture Week
The Armenian Culture Week kicked off in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on 19 January to run through January 25, AnalitikaUA.net reports.
A number of events dedicated to Sergei Parajanov’s 95th, Komitas’ 150th and Silva Kaputikyan’s 100th birthday anniversaries are taking place as part of the event greatly popular among culture, painting, music, cinema and poetry lovers.
The program of events features concerts, exhibitions, master classes, literature and music evenings and film screenings dedicated to the prominent figures of the Armenian culture.
The event is organized by AOKS Ukraine Armenian Union of Cultural Ties, Parajanov-ART and other local Armenian organizations.
