Armenian, Artsakh leaders pay tribute to fallen soldiers on Army Day
On the 27th anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces celebrated on 28 January, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President Armen Sarkissian and Artsakh Republic Artsakh Bako Sahakyan were joined by several other high ranking dignitaries at the Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan to pay homage to the fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the country.
National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, Catholicos of All Armenians KareKin II, as well as members of the National Security Council were among the visitors.
Pashinyan laid flowers at the graves of Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan, Commander Andranik Ozanyan, and a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the perished freedom fighters, the PM’s office told Panorama.am.
He was also introduced on the construction process of the Museum of the Yerablur Military Pantheon.
