Monday morning update on road conditions
Some highways are difficult to pass in the territory of Armenia as of Monday, 8am, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Vardenyats Pass is barely passable. Sotk-Karvachar highway, the roads in Ashotsk and Amasia regions and Syunik Province are partly covered with black ice.
Snowfalls have hit Goris-Sisian-'Zanger' highway, with snowstorm reigning in Aragats region.
Drivers are strictly recommended to use winter tires.
According to the Traffic Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is shut down for all types of vehicles.
