Pashinyan- Aliyev meeting included in 33 major events of World Economic Forum
The World Economic Forum annual meeting this year celebrated a host of exciting and innovative measures to address some of the world’s most pressing environmental, social and political problems. The Forum website has released 33 events that Davos 2019 made an impact on the world, including the meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders.
“The President of Azerbaijan and Prime Minister of Armenia used a meeting at the World Economic Forum to advance negotiations on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” the Forum website wrote.
To remind, at the initiative of the Forum organizers, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had an informal meeting with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev in Davos on January 22. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) peace talks and future steps to advance them.
