Armenia’s Pashinyan names new spokesman
Former Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vladimir Karapetyan, a member of the Armenian National Congress, is set to serve as the new spokesperson for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Karapetyan himself said.
In a post on Facebook, he noted he has accepted the PM’s proposal to fill the vacant position which he received a few days ago.
Karapetyan also added that he is quitting his party membership because “public service implies certain written and unwritten restrictions”.
“I am grateful to Prime Minister Pashinyan for such a proposal,” he said.
