Merkel, Pashinyan to meet in Germany on Friday
German Chancellor Angela Merkel will receive Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia with military honors at the Federal Chancellery on Friday, February 1, the German Embassy in Armenia said on Facebook, citing government spokesperson Steffen Seibert.
“Subsequently, a lunch-time conversation is scheduled, during which Chancellor Merkel and PM Pashinyan will exchange views on bilateral and economic relations, as well as foreign and security policy issues,” the embassy quoted Seibert as saying.
The embassy said it is also looking forward to the visit with ‘interest and joy’.
