Vanetsyan: NSS and FFA ready to employ injured servicemen
The National Security Service (NSS) and the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) are ready to employ the servicemen who receive treatment at the Homeland Defender's Rehabilitation Center, NSS Chairman and President of FFA Artur Vanetsyan told reporters on Friday after touring the center.
“We would love to employ the guys who undergo treatment here: we can present our requirements, i.e. what skilled are needed to work for us, they will undergo trainings and come to work. We hope that cooperation will be a success,” he said when asked to comment on the possibility of the medical facility’s inmates getting jobs at the two state structures.
Earlier on the Armenian Army Day celebrated on 28 January, President Armen Sarkissian called on public and private sector representatives to employ people with disabilities acquired during military service.
Asked whether the assets recovered due to the NSS measures may be allocated to rehabilitation center, he said the funds will be fully directed to the state budget, and the respective structures will decide the spending targets.
“If needed, I think they will also be directed towards upgrading this facility,” he said.
