Berlin-Yerevan flights cancelled as Germania airline goes bankrupt
Berlin-based airline Germania has filed for bankruptcy and cancelled all flights with immediate effect, including the Berlin-Yerevan direct flights.
"Unfortunately, we ultimately failed to successfully complete our financing efforts to meet short-term liquidity needs," said managing director Karsten Balke in a statement, according to AFP.
"We very much regret that, as a consequence, we had no choice but to file for bankruptcy."
In a Facebook post, Zvartnots International Airport urges its passengers to contact with the official representative of Germania airline in Armenia for all questions.
