MP says PAP faction will vote against government program if their proposals aren’t accepted
A lawmaker from the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) faction, Vahe Enfiajyan voiced their intention to vote against the new government’s action plan if their proposals fail to be accepted.
The lawmaker says the faction has already voiced its concerns over the program, stressing the document should clearly mention sources, deadlines, as well as specific tools and mechanisms for dealing with an issue at hand.
The MP, who is also a deputy parliament speaker, said the faction will announce its official decision after discussions.
“If a political statement is made that our positions are acceptable, we will naturally discuss it within our faction and announce our decision. If our approaches are not acceptable, the PAP faction will vote against the government program,” he said.
