Former Mayor of Hrazdan town arrested
The former Mayor of Hrazdan town Aram Danielyan was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of squandering and embezzlement in particularly large amount from land and property taxes of community staff, Armenia’s Investigative Committee reported.
The charges are brought within the criminal case investigating Danielyan’s activitiy in the period from 2015 to 2018 during his tenure as a community head.
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing, the source added.
Note: Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
