Snow reported in number of roads in the territory of Armenia
Armenia’s ministry of transport, communication and IT reports that as of 15:00 on February 28 snow is reported on the roads of Ashotsk, Akhuryan, Artik, Maralik, Talin, Baghramyan, Armavir, Yeghvard, Aparan, Aragats, Spitak Tumanyan Vanadzor, Noyemberyan, Ijevan, Dilijan regions.
Aparan-Aragats road is difficult to pass for trucks with trailers, while Dilijan passes turns barely passable for light vehicles.
Vardenyats pass is closed due to severe snowstorm and lack of visibility. According to the source, the road crews are carrying out cleaning operations with chemical salt and sand along the roads. All interstate and republican roads in the territory of Armenia are passable, the ministry added.
