Friday morning update on road conditions
Armenia's Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports snowfalls on Saravan Pass and the roads in the town of Jermuk as of 9:30am Friday.
Black ice took hold on the Akhuryan roads, Artik-Alagyaz, Dilijan-Vanadzor, Sevan-Dilijan highways, Tigranashen and Stepanavan turns.
Vardenyats Pass is shut down due to blizzards and extremely low visibility.
Road clearing operations are underway, the ministry said, adding all the other interstate and republican highways in the country are open for traffic.
