Fog hits some roads in Armenia
Heavy fog hit the roads in Armenia’s Vayk region as of 9:30am Tuesday, reducing visibility to 25-30 meters, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies said in a daily road condition update.
Fog also descended on the Abovyan and Sevan roads, as well as the Tigranashen turns, with a visible distance of 70-80 meters.
Vardenyats Pass is shut down for cargo and trailer trucks and difficult to pass for passenger vehicles amid snowstorm.
Road maintenance works are underway, the ministry said, adding all the other interstate and republican highways in the country are open for traffic.
