Armenian president urges men to celebrate women’s days all year round
President Armen Sarkissian of Armenia hosted a reception at the Presidential Palace on the International Women’s Day celebrated annually on March 8.
During the meeting, the president said that the holiday is a wonderful occasion to congratulate and honor mothers, grandmothers, sisters and girls, who ‘unite beauty, love and happiness.’
Congratulating the women from various spheres who were present at the event, the president gifted them flowers, wishing that spring holidays bring happiness and success to all women and their families.
President Sarkissian wished sound health, love and warmth to all Armenian women and called on men to celebrate women’s days not only one day or one month, but all year round.
