Artsakh reports increase in ceasefire violations
The Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact over 300 times in the past week, the country’s defense ministry reported on Saturday. In the period from March 3-9, the adversary fired around 2,300 shots towards the Armenian defense positions from firearms of different calibers, the ministry added.
As the statement said, the Defense Army fully control the operative tactical situation at the frontline and continues confidently implementing their combat guard.
To note, the number of ceasefire violations reported for the period from February 24 to March 2 was 200 and 150 for the period of February 17-23.
